Obituary - Marvin C. Wilke

Marvin C. Wilke, 81, of Spingdale, Arkansas, formerly of Drexel, Missouri passed away January 31, 2017 at the Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice Home in Springdale, Arkansas. Graveside services will be held 12:30 pm Friday, February 3, 2017 at Rockville Cemetery, Louisburg, Kansas. 

Visitation will be held prior to services from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday at Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel Chapel (660-679-0009). Marvin was born October 2, 1935 in rural Miami County Kansas to Herman F. and Margaret Toncray Wilke. He was a direct descendent of one of Miami County’s earliest settlers. Although, he enjoyed retirement from his farm there, his heart never truly left it.

Marvin is survived by his wife of nearly 60 years, Nickie Applegate Wilke, his children, Alisa Kettler, Donna Belt, Charise (Jim) Meeks, and Jeff (Vicky) Wilke, five grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
