From the desk of Bates County Coroner Greg Mullinax

On Thursday, April 20, 2017, the Bates County Coroner’s office was contacted by the Bates County Sheriff’s office to a residence in Amoret, Missouri where a deceased female had been found outdoors. Coroner Greg Mullinax responded to the scene and a thorough investigation was conducted.

The decedent is identified as 25 year-old Lisa Louthan, who had been living near this location. 

Ms. Louthan’s remains were transported to the Coroner’s office for further investigation. The case remains open at this time, however no foul play is believed to be involved. At this time, further information cannot be released.
