One killed in Cass County motorcycle accident

On 4/24/17 around 5:25pm the Missouri State Highway Patrol in Cass County along with Cass County Sheriff's Deputies and Lake Winnebago Police Department responded to a three vehicle accident involving a motorcycle at the intersection of Northbound 291 at 58 Highway in rural Cass County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the accident occurred when the 1994 Harley Davidson Motorcycle driven by 59 year old Farren E. Boley of Blue Springs, Missouri was traveling Northbound when the 2014 Ford Focus driven by 41 year old Darrel R. Blaylock of Chilhowee, Missouri crossed the intersection from from East to West into the path of the motorcycle and striking it before hitting a 1999 Pontiac Sunfire driven by 24 year old Liam E. McElroy of Peculiar, Missouri and coming to rest.

Mr. Boley was ejected from the motorcycle and he was pronounced dead at Research Hospital around 19:09pm hours.

The vehicles were totaled and towed from the scene by J's Southland Tow.
