Funeral services for Ella Cumpton will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri.
Visitation will be prior to services from 10-11 a.m. at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri.

Ella Olivia Cumpton, age 100 of Butler, Missouri died Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Medicalodge of Butler. She was born January 28, 1917 to Lewis Frederick and Ida Elizabeth Bartz Gench in Prairie City, Missouri.
Ella is survived by two daughters, Sue Kershner of Amoret, Missouri and Patty Gorman and husband David of Ft. Scott, Kansas; and 5 grandchildren, Jackie Heckadon and significant other Ed Poe, Chelle Black and husband Kevin, Michael Kershner and wife LeeAnn, Matt Gorman and Adam Gorman; 10 great-grandchildren, 9 great great-grandchildren and a great great-grandchild on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband George Cumpton; one daughter, Elaine Cumpton; one brother, Bill Gench; and two sisters, Ola Shook and Clara Mae Cumpton.
