Obituary - Teresa Lesmeister

Mass of Christian Burial for Teresa Lesmeister will be held 10 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011 at St. Patrick Catholic Church with Father John Bolderson officiating. Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 26 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri. Visitation will be held from 7:30 - 8:30 p.m. following Rosary services at Schowengerdt Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to St. Patrick Altar Society or Alzheimer's Association.

Teresa Mary Lesmeister, age 93 of Butler, Missouri died Sunday, January 23, 2011 at Westwood Nursing Center in Clinton, Missouri. She was born September 16, 1917 to John and Frances Cook Rotert in Germantown, Missouri.


Teresa is survived by six sons, Joseph Lesmeister of Arlington, Washington, Donald Lesmeister and wife Hazel of Butler, Missouri, John Lesmeister and wife Karen of Bolivar, Missouri, Ralph Lesmeister and wife Kathy of Odem, Texas, Harold Lesmeister and wife Karen and Francis Lesmeister and wife Robin all of Butler, Missouri; three daughters, Evelyn Beebe and husband Robert of Montrose, Missouri, Sharon Miller and husband Ken of Nixa, Missouri and Bernice Lesmeister of Corpus Christi, Texas; three sisters-in-law, Kathleen Lesmeister of Independence, Missouri, Cleo Rice and husband Don of Clinton, Missouri and Aldeen Lesmeister of Montrose, Missouri; a brother-in-law, Ludgar Westhusing of Montrose, Missouri; 23 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clem Lesmeister in 1994; a daughter-in-law, Evelyn Lesmeister; six brothers; and three sisters.
