Road conditions may worsen overnight

The National Weather Service has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the next 24 hours in west central Missouri. Overnight we are to expect a wintery mix to include freezing drizzle with areas to the north  to get higher accumulations. Although Bates County is only expected to get trace amounts of the freezing precipitation, it could make travel hazardous by tomorrow morning for those driving towards Kansas City.
