Our new feature - The News Museum

This is the first installment of our new feature called The News Museum which will highlight a news story or event in Bates County from years past....this will become a weekly feature as more articles and photos come to us over time. 


From the News Museum this week is an ad for the Sky-Vue Drive in Theatre, formerly located on South Business 71 Highway in Butler. The ad (circa 1962) highlights Shootout at Big Sag with Walter Brennan and Flight of the Lost Balloon starring Marshall Thompson. Cost to see the movies was 75 cents per person.
