She attended the Rockville Elementary School through the eighth grade. Her high school years were spent at Appleton City High School, where she graduated in 1984.
After graduation Jennifer lived in Appleton City, where she worked at Casey’s General Store. Later Russell Stover’s Candies in Butler, MO, employed her for twenty years until her health failed in 2014. Throughout her illness, Jennifer found comfort and support in visiting with her cousins, Gary Lodike and Ginny Williams. Also during one of her hospital stays Jennifer accepted Jesus as her personal savior and had several meaningful experiences with her Lord. Tragically, Jennifer suffered the loss of Casey, her son, in a car accident on June 30, 2010, at the age of twenty-five. Jennifer moved to Rich Hill, MO with her spouse, Bruce Base in 1995.
She remained a Rich Hill resident the rest of her life. Some of her most enjoyed activities were putting together jigsaw puzzles, cross-stitching, doing yard work, and helping Bruce in his shop. She was preceded in death by her only son, Casey Bain.
Jennifer is survived by her mourning spouse Bruce Base; her daughters: Sarah of Harrisonville, MO, and Karly of the home; three grandchildren; her parents, Don and Anna Bain; two sisters, Gail (Bain) Green and husband Blane, and Christeal (Bain) McClure and husband Buddy, and one brother, Gerard Bain and wife Tammy; as well as a host of friend and relatives. She will be deeply missed by all of her friends and family, who loved her deeply. Jennifer Lynn Bain
