Coats for Kids contributor Wins Nook Color at Huckster’s Day booth

DSWA CPAs kicked off their Coats for Kids project for 2012 this past Saturday on the Butler square. Everyone who donated at least $5 to the program got a chance to win a Barnes & Noble Nook Color with case, courtesy of DSWA. Barb Mitchell, who recently moved to Butler from Michigan, was the lucky winner.

All monies donated will be used to purchase brand-new warm coats or jackets for deserving grade schoolers in time for Christmas this year. Twelve area schools and Head Starts supply names of youngsters who might not otherwise have a decent coat for the winter. You may make your contribution and register for another drawing to be held in December by stopping by DSWA at 210 W. Ohio or mail your check made payable to Coats for Kids to P.O. Box 190, Butler, MO 64730. Last year over 200 children received new coats through the popular project.
