Bates County Live wants your news!First, we would like to thank all those who currently send us stories, calendar events, news tips and more, it is greatly appreciated. However, there's always room for more and we'll take it - ribbon cuttings, 4-H news, sports news and achievements,  school news of all kinds, civic group activities and more. You name it- if it's news, we want to put it on line for family and friends to see.
Our goal at Bates County Live is to give you up-to-the-minute news happenings and all other local news as well. We don't have space restrictions, so stories that are slightly lengthy are not a problem. Plus, all pictures we publish are in color and readers have the ability to click and zoom to see the full size pic.
