Drexel couple receive injuries in rollover on AA Highway

A Drexel couple sustained moderate injuries in a rollover accident in AA Highway at county road NW10001 around 10:30 last night. Roy Howell, 68, and Lorena Howell, 51, of Drexel, were traveling eastbound when their 2008 Ford ran off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned in a creek. Both were taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment. The report shows the vehicle was totaled and that both occupants were wearing seat belts.
