Butler Police Department activity Nov. 2nd - Nov. 6th
11/02/2010 - Officers pick up a male subject in the 1100 block of North Orange on a Cass County warrant.
Butler Officers make a vehicle stop and arrest the driver for an outstanding Bates County warrant.
Officers respond to the 200 block of North Maple on a disturbance call. Upon arrival, officers are informed that a male subject that was causing problems has already left the area.
11/03/2010 - While on patrol, officers observe a vehicle driving South in the Northbound lane on South Main street. While attempting to stop the vehicle, the vehicle leaves the road and enters the ditch on the West side of the street. The driver is arrested and charged with Careless and Imprudent driving.
Officers make a vehicle stop on West 52. During the stop it is determined that the driver is Revoked and is arrested.
Officers respond to the 100 block of South Willow on a disturbance call. Upon arrival find that a male and female had been arguing and that the male had suffered cuts to his hand. The male subject was transported to the hospital. Charges are pending.
11/04/2010 - Officers respond to the 200 block of North Main on a trespassing call. Upon arrival, officers are informed that 2 male subjects had been on the property without permission but had already left the area.
Officers take a bike theft report in the 200 block of South Delaware street.
Officers take an assault report that occured at the Butler High School.
Officers are dispatched to the 300 block of West Ohio on a disturbance call. Upon arrival all parties had left the area.
Officers make a vehicle stop and during the stop it is determined that the driver is suspended. The driver is arrested.
Officers work a two vehicle accident at the intersection of Business 71 and Fort Scott street.
11/05/2010 - Officers respond to a report of two small children left unattended in a running vehicle on the square. Upon arrival, officers observe two small children in the vehicle. The parent is contacted and the incident is turned over to the Division of Family Services.
11/06/2010 - Officers take a vandalism report in the 200 block of West Dakota street.
