Pete Henry, 70 of Drexel, passed away Saturday, November 27 at his home in Drexel.
Pete was born April 14, 1940 in Kansas City, Mo., the son of John Stewart and Mary Theresa (Peckenpaugh) Henry. He married Linda Ryan on January 19, 1962 in Kansas City.
Pete served in the U.S. Air Force, and was most proud of being a union electrician with I.B.E.W. 124. He loved his family, hunting, fishing, and also farming.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harold Henry. He is survived by his wife Linda of the home; sons John and Pat Henry; as well as his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8pm Tuesday, November 30 at Mullinax Funeral Home, Drexel, (816) 657-4400, with a funeral service at 1pm Wednesday, November 31. Burial will follow in Sharon Cemetery, Drexel. Memorial contributions in Pete’s name are suggested to the American Lung Association, and may be left in care of the funeral home, PO Box 500, Drexel, MO 64742.
