Obituary - Oliver Kenneth Ison

Funeral services for Oliver Ison will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Schowengerdt Funeral Chapel (660-679-6555) in Butler, Missouri with Brother Bill Perkey officiating and Dr. Jim Bottrell assisting. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Wednesday prior to services at Chapel. Burial in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, Missouri. Contributions to Double Branch Christian Church, Belton Christian Church, Beautiful Savior Home or Grace Hospice.

Oliver Kenneth Ison, age 80 of Raymore, Missouri died Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Beautiful Savior Home in Belton, Missouri. He was born June 15, 1930 to Ervin William and Gladys Gail Miller in Butler, Missouri.


Oliver is survived by his wife, Clara “Tommie” Ison of Raymore, Missouri; a son, Kenneth Ison and wife Brenda of Raymore, Missouri; three daughters, Cynthia Garcia and husband Jeff of Belton, Missouri, Charlotte Knight of Raymore, Missouri and Brenda Simon and husband John of Grandview, Missouri; a brother, Roy Ison and wife Linda of Independence, Missouri; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Stephen Ison in 1972; and a brother, Bill Ison.
