Raymond Harvey requested a public defender during his appearance in the Bates County Circuit Court pre-trial conference this afternoon. Harvey is charged with 2 counts of 1st degree murder, 2 counts of armed criminal action and 1 count of 2nd degree arson in connection with the murder of Brandee Bickleman and Bailey Bickleman on March 9th.
The case is continued until April 13th, as Harvey is currently being held in the Vernon County jail. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
