Gary Brown of Rich Hill sustained minor injuries this afternoon at around 1:30 p.m. in a two vehicle accident at 52 Highway and the U.S. 71 Northbound entrance ramp. According to the report, Brown was attempting to turn onto the 71 entrance ramp from 52 when he was struck by a mini van driven Robert Nelson of Ringgold, GA. who also was attempting to enter the ramp. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were towed from the scene.
Brown was transported to Bates County Memorial Hospital for treatment. Charges are pending at this time.
