On Thursday, March 10, 2011, eleven students from Miami R-I High School competed in the WEMO Math Relay in Archie. These students are: 9th grade – Crystal Routen & Makalyn Gutshall, 10th grade – Jessica Murrell & Lee’a Hoss, 11th grade – Lynnlee Barton & Jenna Slattery, 12th grade – Tom Barry, Brady Muller, Dylan Fink, Brandon Calahan, and Ryan Good. These students achieved high awards at the Math Relay: Ryan Good and Lynnlee Barton – 4th Place Probability Team Test; Makalyn Gutshall – 3rd Place 9th Grade Algebra and 5th Place – 9th Grade Geometry; Brandon Calahan – 6th Place 12th Grade Geometry; with Dylan Fink and Brady Muller placing 1st in the Math Challenge Team Test.
