Bears Take Second at Carrollton Invitational, 9 Medalists

On Friday, Dec 10, the Butler Bears varsity wrestling team travelled to the Carrollton Invitational Wrestling Tournament. The Bears had an outstanding night at the tournament, placing 2nd out of 8 teams. The Bears surpassed last week’s total, bringing home 9 medals, including a tournament champion, 160 lb wrestler Cody Pitts.

Tournament teams included Butler, Carrollton, Gallatin, Lathrop, Platte County JV, Plattsburg, Wentworth Military Academy, and William Chrisman JV.
