Rich Hill woman killed in single car accident

Just after 3:30 p.m. yesterday, 79 year old Peggy Westerhold of Rich Hill was killed when she lost control of her car on loose gravel approximately one mile east of Metz. According to the report, the vehicle hit an embankment and overturned ejecting the driver. A passenger in the vehicle, 85 year old Mary Sweet of Metz (sister of Westerhold), was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center for treatment of moderate injuries. The accident is currently under investigation.
