High school seniors who plan to enter the education field may apply for a scholarship provided by the West Central Retired School Personnel Association in an amount of at least $200 until March 1, 2011. Requirements to qualify include a minimum 3.0 GPA at the end of seven semesters, display outstanding character, citizenship, involvement in school activities and must accepted and enrolled in an approved college. Along with the application, a transcript and two letters of recommendation are needed.
