Second rollover accident this weekend reported

Jonathan Porter, 17, and Amanda Schoof, 22, both of Butler escaped serious injury around 2 a.m. this morning when the 1996 Chrysler driven by Porter left the roadway and overturned at the intersection of county roads 8004 and 1503 near Butler. Both received minor injuries and were taken to Bates County Memorial Hospital by private vehicle. The report shows the driver was not wearing a seat belt. Charges are pending as the investigation continues.
