33rd annual Western Missouri Antique tractor show in full swing...


A hit and miss engine churning ice cream
It's three full days of steam engines, tractors, implements and more at the 33rd annual Western Missouri Antique Tractor and Machinery Association show is officially underway at Frontier Village in Adrian. This year's featured tractor is the Ford, Fordson and related equipment co-featuring all brands of lawn and garden tractors.

The Frontier Village center will be open all weekend for breakfast and lunch each day. Here's a look at the schedule:

Tonight:
Antique tractor pull - 6:30 p.m.

Saturday:
8 a.m. - Anthem and Flag raising
9 a.m. - Awards presentation
10 a.m. - Quilt Show at Spruce Store
"Parade of Power"- at 12:05 p.m.
1 p.m. - miniature horse pull
2/3 scale Allis Chalmers tractors owned by George
and Jackie Hess of Clinton, Mo.
Kids games - 2:30 p.m.
3 p.m. - contests-bale throw, 2 man sawing, blind man driving
3 - 4 p.m. - Gospel sing along
3 p.m. - scales open for weighing
6 p.m. - Live band
6:30 p.m. - Rubber tire tractor pull

Sunday:
7:45 a.m. - Anthem and Flag raising
Church services - 8:00 a.m.
Parade of Power at noon on main street
1 p.m. - scales open
Kids pedal tractor pull - 1:30 p.m.
Antique tractor pull 3:00 p.m.

There's more:
South Prairie Railroad will be open for all ages to take a ride.
Primitive camping available on the grounds for $6.

NEW ATTRACTION - this building houses a five cylinder diesel generator engine capable of producing 425 h.p.
The 56,000 lb engine once generated power for the city of Odessa, Mo.
