Outreach center sponsoring school supplies program

The Bates County Outreach Center is now accepting applications for the Back-to-School program sponsored by the West Central Missouri Community Action agency in Butler.

To be eligible for this program, the entire household income must be at 135 percent of the Federal Poverty Guidelines or less. If you do not have an active food stamps case or if everyone in your household is not on food stamps, you will be required to provide proof of income for anyone in your household that is 18 years of age or older.

School supplies will be distributed at the Butler Health and Safety Fair in August. The deadline to register for the program is July 22nd.
