Lots of fun for local 4-H'ers at T-Bones game

Approximately 100 Missouri and Kansas 4-H members and their parents attended the second annual “4-H with the T-Bones Night” at Community America stadium in Kansas City, KS on Saturday evening June 18. According to Alan J. Mundey, Bates County 4-H Youth specialist, activities at the ballpark included a pre-game parade on the field for all 4-H members and families; meeting Sizzle the T-Bones mascot; eating $1 hot dogs; watching the T-Bones take on the Winnipeg Goldeyes; and enjoying a spectacular fireworks display provided by Verizon. This event was organized with the cooperation of Missouri 4-H youth specialists and the T-Bones baseball organization.
