4-H'ers qualify for state competition in September

The Bates County 4- H Archery Project held its County Archery Shoot June 12 at the home of project leader Mark Armentrout. 23 Archers, in 3 age divisions, shot 60 arrows during the afternoon competition which qualified the 4-Hers for the State Archery Competition scheduled for September 17, 2011. Winners in the age divisions were – Junior, Emily Shine; Intermediate, Wade Cumpton: and Senior, Wyatt Cumpton.
