The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Watch to be in effect until 3 a.m. for Bates County and surrounding areas. Radar currently shows a squall line that extends from Omaha through Kansas, into Oklahoma. Expect winds of up to 65 mph, hail and lots of lightning as the front passes through in the next few hours.
