The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for northeastern Bates County in effect until 10 p.m.
Current radar shows a line of heavy thunderstorms that extends from Archie towards Creighton, which is reported to be producing golf ball size hail.
A smaller group of thunderstorms is making its way towards Bates County from the southwest and are expected to arrive within the next hour or so.
