While brief rains may have kept a few at bay, proud owners of everything from t-buckets to bracket racers came to show their rides at the annual Bates County Elks Car show.
There were around 25 cars and upwards of 10 motorcycles on display on the front lawn of the Elks Lodge. Around 2 p.m., those present gathered for the flag ceremony, which explained the progression of the appearance of the American flag from inception to present day.
Another car show is in the works for next year-hopefully the weather will be a little more cooperative...
