Funeral services for Sharon Clark will be 10:30 AM Friday, February 21, 2014 at Mullinax Funeral Home (660-679-0009) in Butler, Missouri with Greg Mullinax officiating. Visitation will be prior to services, 9:30 – 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial at 2:00 PM in East Slope Cemetery in Riverside, Missouri. Sharon Ann Clark, 68 of Butler, Missouri passed away February 19, 2014 at Bates County Memorial Hospital in Butler. She was born December 6, 1945 in Kansas City, Missouri, daughter of Sam and Nettie (Bryan) Clark.
Sharon had worked as a housekeeper in a motel, and had done various piecework at an area workshop. She loved singing gospel and country music songs and attending church, as well as watching cartoons and movies. Sharon loved stuffed animals and particularly dolls, especially the talking ones. A favorite outing was going to Wal-Mart and garage sales; she also liked to work puzzles and crafts.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, and her siblings Jimmy Clark, Nancy Decker, Bill Clark, Lillian Clark, Nadine Clark, Helen Bledsoe, Pauline Slaughter, Betty Dick, and Charles Clark. She is survived by her son, Michael; one brother, George Clark; one sister, Donna Campobasso and husband Frank; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
