On Thursday, Feb. 20, at 12:38 p.m. St. Clair County deputies were dispatched to property located on NN Highway in reference to two male juveniles shooting at calves. Zeb Salmon reported the juveniles shot three calves and ran into the woods. Following a search of the area, two suspects were identified.
The sheriff explained the investigation led to a search warrant being served at a residence on NE 651 Private Road on Feb. 21. Officers from the Mid Missouri Multi Jurisdiction Drug Task Force and Missouri Department of Conservation assisted St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputies with serving the search warrant. Several items were seized as evidence during the search and the investigation is ongoing.
