Osceola man arrested on Pettis and St.Clair County warrant

On Wednesday, Feb. 19, Daniel Ball II, Osceola, was arrested in Pettis County on a St. Clair County warrant for failing to appear in court on a felony probation violation. Bond was set at $5,000 cash only. Ball was placed on five years supervised probation in September 2010 after he entered an Alford plea and was found guilty in a case charging him with class C felony burglary in the second degree. The charge stemmed from an incident in July 2009.
Ball was also arrested on Dec. 4, 2013 after failing to appear in court on the probation violation. He appeared in court on Jan. 16 and admitted violating probation by using methamphetamine. He was released on an own recognizance bond pending disposition from the court on Feb. 3 for the probation violation. Ball failed to appear on Feb. 3 and the case was reset to Feb. 11.
