Vehicle Broken into in Appleton City

On Sunday, Feb. 23, 2014 a St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office deputy was dispatched to an apartment on South Beech Street, Appleton City, in reference to stealing from a motor vehicle. Craig Friskel reported sometime between Feb. 22 at 9:30 p.m. and Feb. 23 at 5 p.m. someone broke into his green 2001 Ford F150 and stole a wallet, cigarettes and change from the truck. The investigation is ongoing. The Sheriff's Office encourages everyone to keep your vehicle locked.
