St.Clair County Sheriff's Office: Warrant Arrest in Appleton City

On Feb. 16, at 7:42 p.m. a deputy responded to Casey's, Appleton City, in reference to a suspicious person. Contact was made with Sivan Mead, 34, Kansas City, who stated he received a ride from Sedalia to Appleton City because someone said they could give him a place to stay for a few days. After he arrived, they told him they could not help. Mead said he was looking for a place to stay.

A check revealed he had a valid license and no warrants in Missouri. While attempting locate Mead a place to stay for the night, dispatch advised they were contacted by the state of Kansas in reference to an active warrant for probation violation for Mead. The warrant was extraditable and Mead was arrested and transported to the St. Clair County Jail.
