2 Thefts in Appleton City

Purse and change stolen from vehicle in Appleton City

On Feb. 17, at 2:43 p.m. a deputy was dispatched to Kylie Ackerman’s residence on West First Street, Appleton City, in reference to a vehicle being broke into. Ackerman said her neighbor called and told her that her emergency flashers were on in her vehicle.  When she went to the vehicle and checked, she noticed her purse along with an unknown amount of assorted change from her cup holder was missing. The purse was brown with colorful stripes on it.  She also reported change missing from her dad’s truck. The investigation is ongoing.

Report of stolen medication

On Feb. 14, at 3:55 p.m. a deputy took a stealing report from Lisa Jacobs, an employee at Appleton City Manor (ACM). Jacobs reported Tramadol was stolen from her purse that was located in her office at the ACM . She noted Tramadol was also stolen from her purse on Feb. 5. A suspect was identified and a request for prosecution was signed. The investigation is ongoing.
