The saying "there are two sides to every coin" will apply tomorrow. While we're looking at another warm "Spring-like" day in the 50s Wednesday, this warmer air will bring a chance for thunderstorms Wednesday night into Thursday. A few of these storms could become strong to severe. Right now, it looks like the main risks will be large hail in the stronger storms.
This storm will also bring decent rains to the area with the potential for an inch or more of rain for some. We're already seeing river rises due to the snow melt and any additional rain may lead to flooding.
We hate to mention the chance for snow on Thursday, but yes, there will be the potential for it, especially in areas along and northwest of I-35 for light snow accumulations. This will be a very dynamic system.
